Inky Writers is for children who:
- love to write – whether that’s stories, poems or diary entries
- are reluctant to write but have a lot to say
- want to have fun with words and help them flow more easily.
Inky Writers is for primary-aged children and focuses on fun and creative expression, helping words flow more easily. At Inky Writers, we:
- explore our imaginations
- have fun with words
- write from the heart
- feel free to make mistakes
- tell stories inspired by our world.
Recent research by the National Literacy Trust found that children and young people who enjoy writing very much are seven times more likely to write above the level expected for their age compared with children and young people who do not enjoy writing at all.
